Can I bring a backpack?

Backpacks are allowed when searched and they will be escorted to coat check for storage during the show.

Are there things that I shouldn't bring to a show?

For the comfort and safety of everyone, please do not bring the following items to The Warfield:
- Strollers (the venue is Ages 6+ - please check each show listing for specific age restrictions)
- 18 and over shows require a valid government issued ID. i.e. Driver’s license, passport, etc. NO school IDs, expired IDs, or pictures of IDs.
- Ages 6+
- No Camelbacks, empty Camelbacks are OK
- No Professional Cameras
- Due to most performers’ requests, no professional recording devices are allowed. This includes professional cameras (any camera with a detachable lens).
- No Laptops
- No Video Equipment
- No Audio Equipment
- No Outside Food or Beverages
- No Weapons of Any Kind
- No Chains
- No Markers
- No Chewing Gum
- No Ins and Outs
- No Backpacks
- No Luggage
- No Hula Hoops
- No Pets

When do doors open for a show?

The doors typically open one hour prior to show time; although this may vary by concert. Please refer our Calendar page or www.axs.com for the most up-to-date information.

Are there any opening acts at the show?
-
Any support acts will be listed on our Calendar page or at www.axs.com. Event lineups are subject to change.

Do you allow re-entry?
-
No. Once your ticket has been scanned you will not be allowed to leave and re-enter the venue. The only exception is our smoking section (information listed below).

Where is lost and found?
-
While at the performance, please visit coat check located downstairs, underneath the grand staircase, if you have lost something. If you realize you have lost an item after leaving The Warfield please contact us.

Do you have a medical staff on site?

Yes. If needed Rock Med is available at most shows.

How can I meet the band?
-
The Warfield does not offer backstage access, meet and greet passes, early entry or any other way to meet a band or performer. Occasionally, a radio station or fan club may offer a meet and greet or early entry but The Warfield has no access to these passes. Please contact them directly.

My favorite DJ is playing! Do you allow glow sticks or glow gloves?

Glow gloves are allowed. Unfortunately, glow sticks are not permitted.

How do I purchase a ticket for an event?
-
Tickets for all Warfield shows are available on our Calendar page. You can also purchase tickets through www.axs.com, or over phone at 1-888-9AXS-TIX (1-888-929-7849).
Tickets can also be purchased at The Warfield Theatre or The Regency Ballroom Box Office on nights of show.
* The Warfield Theatre’s Box Office is open from 10 AM until 3 PM every Sunday (with exception on some holidays).Tickets can be purchased during these hours with only a $2 service fee. Please note that Presale and VIP tickets CANNOT be purchased during this time.

How do I access my AXS Mobile ID / Mobile Tickets?

- The Warfield is a mobile venue, all tickets will be scanned off the AXS App on phone (unless Will Call or Standard Mail tix).

How do I purchase wheelchair accessible tickets?
-
To purchase wheelchair accessible seating, click the “Accessible Seating?” link on the ticket buy page at www.axs.com, by phone at 1-888-9AXS-TIX (1-888-929-7849), or in person during designated hours at The Warfield Theatre or The Regency Ballroom.
Accessible seat tickets are available for every AXS ticketed event through the normal purchase process on AXS.com.

When do tickets go on sale?

On Sale dates vary from one show to another, but usually go on sale on Friday at 10 AM. The best way to receive advance notice of upcoming shows is to join our mailing list. Click here to subscribe.

Can I buy tickets at the door on the day of the event?
-
If there are tickets still available to purchase on the day of the event, you may purchase them in person at the box office. The Warfield Theatre Box Office opens 90 minutes prior to each event.

Can I get a refund or exchange my tickets?
-
All tickets are purchased on a no refunds, exchanges or cancellations basis and are only usable for the day, date and time selected at the time of purchase.

When can I pick up my WILL CALL tickets?
-
The Will Call window opens 90 minutes prior to each show at The Warfield Theatre Box Office. Be sure to bring your photo ID, the credit card that was used to purchase the tickets and your AXS confirmation number as any or all of these may be required to pick up your tickets.

Can I transfer my tickets to someone else?

What is a pre-sale? How do I participate or get a password?

Pre-sales and passwords are by invitation only, and are usually offered only by fan clubs or radio stations. We will occasionally offer pre-sales to our mailing list members. Please subscribe to our mailing list to receive these pre-sale notices. Please click here to subscribe.

What happens in the event of a show cancellation?

In the event of a show cancellation your order will be refunded automatically in its entirety.

I have General Admission tickets; how early should I arrive at the venue?
-
We advise that you do not line up outside The Warfield prior to the stated door time. You will be notified via email if this policy changes for your event.

I bought Balcony tickets; can I go to the floor?
-
Unfortunately, since you purchased a reserved ticket you do not have access to the general admission floor.

Is there reserved seating?
-
Yes. Unless otherwise stated the general admission floor is all standing, while the loge and balcony are reserved seats upstairs.

I have seats number 103 and 105 in the balcony. Are those next to each other?
-
Yes. Seats in the loge and balcony are numbered all odd on one side of the theatre and all even on the other.

Is there a limit on how many tickets I can purchase for an event?
-
Ticket limits vary by show - please reference the AXS ticketing page for the event you're planning to attend.
Please note, orders in violation of the published ticket limit are subject to cancellation without notice.
Photo & Audio

Can I bring a camera?
-
It depends on the band but usually you can bring a small camera. Professional cameras (any camera with a detachable lens) are not permitted without the band’s permission. Additionally, we usually do not allow live audio recording of the concert.

Can I get a photo pass?

Please contact the band or your publication directly. We do not have access to these passes.
Food & Beverage

Does The Warfield serve food?

Food is available for purchase at every Warfield Theatre concert. There are also a number of restaurants located near the venue.

Does The Warfield serve alcohol?
-
Yes. You must be 21 and older to drink at The Warfield. You must have photo ID to verify your age.

Can I bring food or beverages into The Warfield?

No. We do not allow outside food or beverages.
Smoking

Can I smoke at The Warfield?
-
The Warfield has a smoking section located outside the venue on Market Street. We try to open the smoking section as soon as possible; but have to wait for enough patrons to enter theatre. We are usually able to open it an hour or so after doors have opened.
Coat Check

Do you have a coat check?
-
Yes. The coat check is accessible downstairs, underneath the grand staircase. It is open every night we have a show and costs $5 per item.
Parents & Children

Can anyone regardless of age attend a show at The Warfield?
-
Most shows at The Warfield are all ages (6+), but on occasion this policy may vary by show. Please refer to the ticket buy page for further details. If a show is "18 & Over" or "21 & Over" please make sure to bring VALID GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO I.D. for entry. If you are unable to provide proper I.D. you will not be allowed into the venue. Those under the specified age limit will not be allowed into the venue even if their legal guardian accompanies them.

Does my child need a ticket?

Yes. Everyone requires a ticket regardless of age. NO BABIES IN ARMS ALLOWED EVEN WITH TICKETS – For their safety and our liability

My children are going to the show; do you have a waiting area for parents?

No. The only way you will be allowed into the venue is if your purchase a ticket.
Transportation

Where can I park near The Warfield?

Limited street parking. There are a few parking lots in the area - please refer to the parking info here.

Is there public transportation near The Warfield?
-
Yes. There is a MUNI Bus Stop for the 5 (Fulton) and the 21 (Hayes) directly outside The Warfield. If taking BART please use the Powell BART Station as it is closest to The Warfield.

Can I easily catch a taxi after the show?
-
Yes. Market Street is usually very busy; you should not have much trouble getting a ride.
